What needs to emerge from this, and hasn’t as yet, is a serious discussion of why some people are atheists and others aren’t. The same evidence is available to every one of us, so why do we reach such radically different conclusions? Such a discussion isn’t going to get everyone agreeing, but it will lead to a much greater understanding and, hopefully, respect.
