Have you ever noticed many of your works have Biblical connotations. That isn’t what really interested me. What interested me is you actually have quite a unique perspective on what Mother Mary may have looked like. It is almost as though you saw an image in your mind and even other images too corresponding to the time… I am wondering if these images are still images or moving in your mind’s eye…
You also mix the ephemeral in ‘the butterfly that lives forever motif’, with the immortal. When I saw how you wrapped the figure who I believe is Mother Mary nursing the child in a blue luminescence I thought of an angel :p
